The Learner acknowledges that riding a motorcycle is a potentially dangerous activity and could lead to injury, damage or loss (to person and or property) including from incidents caused by the learner, by another person or by the nature of riding. ARMA accredited instructors are committed to safety and instruction and take no responsibility for negligent or reckless behaviour. The learner agrees as a participant in the instruction that they will not hold ARMA liable for any damage or injury incurred during the tuition.

The learner acknowledges and confirms that they are fit to ride a motorcycle and participate in training, and that there are no medical or physical impediments that prevent them from doing so.

The learner will agree to pay ARMA a sum not more than AU$1000 (One Thousand Australian Dollars) for damage or loss incurred to the ARMA’s assets whilst under the instruction of ARMA.

The learner will agree to pay ARMA a sum of $100 for damage incurred in the event of the motorcycle being used is dropped and damaged (handlebar and levers).

During the instruction the learner will be responsible for the safe operation of the motorcycle and will not ride a motorcycle in any manner that contravenes any law. The learner agrees to follow the instructions of the instructor as closely as possible during the lesson.

ARMA WILL NOT refund any or part of the tuition, unless mutually agreed upon by both ARMA and the learner. ARMA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the lessons or assessments and will endeavour to notify the learner electronically or by phone. Be advised that assessments will take priority over lessons and in the event of an assessment conflicting with a scheduled lesson, the lesson may be moved to a different date or time.

ARMA will make NO guarantee that the learner will pass any Department of Transport assessment as a result of taking this instruction.

Non-compliant motorcycles or riders will not be permitted to participate in instruction and all fees will be forfeited.
